The taxonomy used here follows Birdlife International. We recognise that some locally known species aren't listed, however, it's likely that Birdlife treats them as sub-species, therefore, the main species will be listed. The country lists are based on a single global list of over 10,000 species, therefore, any local variations will not be noted. Common names also reflect those used by Birdlife which often differ to local English common names.
